We couldn't find a high quality, universal brake caliper anchor rod for custom motorcycles, so we decided to make one. If running a disc brake on the rear of a rigid, hardtailed motorcycle then this is just what you need. Center-to-center on the heim joints is 6", and each heim joint offers 3/4" adjustability, making this brake stay rod 6" to 7.5" long. The heim joints are 3/8" inside diameter. One end affixes to the caliper bracket and the other end to the motorcycle frame or front end (as this could be used for a front brake caliper anchor as well in custom applications). The body is 5/8" diameter steel, milled in the center so the included jam nuts can easily be tightened while holding the body with a 1/2" wrench.
